Distribution Partner Certification Requirements
• Must be non-profit, 501(C)3 organization
• Existing constituents with whom your organization communicates frequently
• Have an organized communications channel with constituents
• Demonstrate ability to market, position, and present Texpo services
• Completion of the Affinity Partner Application and purchase of Affinity Promotion Pack which includes 12 months co-branding affiliate page hosting, customizable brochures, and sample marketing communications ($49.95)

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Affiliate Marketing Partners are responsible for jointly promoting and recommending Texpo Electricity Service. The Texpo Affiliate Marketing Partners Program lets organizations offer their members top-quality utility service and other energy products, while at the same time generating revenue for the member’s organization. To be successful, this program requires the active support of the organization and its leadership. Marketing Partners promote Texpo service and are compensated (both initially and monthly recurring) for each lead referred to Texpo that result in a sale. HOW IT WORKS:
AMPP is designed to enable companies, associations, and membership organizations to offer Texpo’s reliable electricity service and utility related products/services to their members in a variety of co-marketing initiatives, including joint press announcements, lead generation programs, web site exposure, and product placements and opportunities at events/trade shows. Partners work with Texpo to place banner ads, buttons, and information on the Partner’s website and develop a go-to-market plan. In addition, by using the Marketing Partners web site, Partners have access to many of the same resources as Texpo sales personnel, including customizable marketing and sales materials in PDF format, promotional offers, presentations and presentation scripts, template letters, HTML and Rich Media emails, and a special events calendar. Affiliate Partners will also be kept up-to-date on seasonal promotions, new product development and product launches.
BENEFITS:
Texpo’s uncomplicated business model ensures a simplified set-up for the Partner without the need for costly “integration” between the Partner’s systems or websites, customer management systems, and the Texpo offering. Working with Texpo, Marketing Partners are able to immediately offer the service to their existing customer base and signing up new accounts through our leading-edge website and web-enrollment platform or customer service center that will demonstrate a significant increase in time-to-market and revenue.
MARKETING
AMPP promotional materials, including rich media emails, letters, brochures, and website material will be produced by Texpo via our secure Marketing Partners Portal. These will be produced with your organization’s approval and oversight, to be used and distributed by Texpo and the Partner. These materials will be made available to the Partner’s membership via your online/offline communications and at the Partner’s events. Each program is designed to ensure that your group does no administrative work, while offering your membership the benefits of Texpo Electricity.
The Internet is strategically positioned in Texpo's Marketing model. Texpo has created a flexible web-based framework accommodating a multiplicity of marketing strategies for its Marketing Partners. This integrative framework provides Marketing Partners with tools and resources to aid in the sale of our utility service and products directly to customers via Internet through its organization’s web sites, email lists, or other online communications methods.
One example is that Texpo has prepared special links that you can download from your Marketing Partners Portal Page and place on your site. Unlike normal links, these links are smart. When a visitor clicks one of these smart links from your site, information about that connection is recorded onto your Affiliate account. Using special programming called "Cookies", we will track all activity of the potential customers referred to us by way of your website. If that referral ends up purchasing electricity from us, YOU GET PAID a commission on that sale and the ongoing revenue generated from that customers monthly electricity bill.
The AMPP model also includes "marketing solutions" for Marketing Partners. Other product marketing may be initiated through direct mail, television, radio, or other advertising venues. For these marketing activities, there would be a special URL for the customer type in so that we are able to track access and purchase activity with your members. Texpo encourages a collaborative effort with Marketing Partners to find products and marketing solutions that will be of the most value to customers or members, in addition to generating above average returns for you, our Partner.
